Volunteer now!
Do you want to give something back, make new friends, learn new skills, spend lots of time in a beautiful location and help out with a great cause? - Then become a volunteer on the Wye Valley Greenway.
It doesn’t matter if you have only an hour a month, or several a week, there are always ways you can help out. Our volunteers are vital for the maintenance and improvement of the path.
Some of our volunteers are responsible for closing Tidenham Tunnel gates at night, some help build drystone walls to improve the structure of the path, put up sculptures to create focal points, others help with the tree and wildflower planting, or the felling of trees blocking the path, others conduct research, the list goes on. No matter what your ability, we can find a job to suit you and fit in with your availability.
