Greenways and Cycleroutes Limited is a Community Benefit Society, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and listed on the Mutuals Public Register as CB 7273 with a mail address at 39 Cornwallis Crescent, Bristol, BS8 4PH, and with the contact email address greenwaysandcycleroutes@gmail.com and, for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation, is the data controller.
What we collect
You provide information by contacting us via our Websites, via email, by phone, by social media or by joining one of our volunteer groups. Depending on how you contact us, we will collect some, or all, of the following information:
your name;
email address;
telephone number;
your address;
gender, title;
contact details;
amount of donation;
if you consent too and, are a UK tax payer so we can claim, gift aid.
We use your personal data for:
internal record keeping, information is shared with our independent examiner of accounts;
arranging volunteering events, information will be shared with Volunteer Coordinators; and
where you consent, sending you emails on new or existing projects.
Claiming Gift Aid from HMRC, if you are eligible and consent.
Security
Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted through our Websites or over email; any transmission is at your own risk.
Sharing and storing your personal data
We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we are required by law to do so.
The personal data you provide may only be accessed, via a secure login. Information from third party suppliers, entered into via our websites, are protected by encryption technology.
We will also share your personal data in emergencies, where we will share your personal data with the emergency services, to protect your vital interests.
How long do we store your personal data?
As a volunteer, we will retain your data so that we can inform you of new or current projects until you request it to be deleted.
If you donate, we will retain the personal data provided for as long as required by HMRC.
Once data has been deleted we retain the amalgamated information for statistical purposes.
You have the following rights in regards to your personal data:
Access: You have access to the personal information we store about you and how it is processed and who we share it with.
Portability: You can ask for the information we have to be shared with a named third party. We are not responsible for the security of the personal data or its processing once received by the third party.
Correction: You can correct any personal data held about you.
Erasure: You can request that we erase the personal information we hold about you, where you believe it is no longer necessary, remove consent or object to the processing of your data, no longer wish to receive communications from us or you believe we are unlawful processing your data.
Objection: You have the right to object to our processing of data about you and we will consider your request.
Withdrawal of Consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing greenwaysandcycleroutes@gmail.com.
Complaints
If you wish to make a complaint, please contact greenwaysandcycleroutes@gmail.com and we will endeavour to deal with your request. This is without prejudice to your right to launch a claim with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
