Working with the Community
The Floral Mile gives us an opportunity to work with the community, helping people of all ages to understand the value of protecting our fragile environment.
Chepstow & District Round Table Primary School Wildflower Growing Competition.
Five Chepstow primary schools (St Mary’s Roman Catholic, Thornwell, The Dell, Offas Mead and Pembroke Road) took part. They grew some native wildflowers that were then planted along The Floral Mile. Seeds, compost and biodegradable pots were provided to each of the participating schools.
